About Katie Azevedo, M.Ed. 

My name is Katie Azevedo. Through private coaching, video tutorials and online courses, I teach students how to learn.

Having taught in both public and private school systems, I have seen first-hand how our students are expected to learn - but they are rarely given the tools or strategies to do so.

Since 2006, I have personally coached thousands of students, one-on-one, on:

• • standardized tests (SAT/ACT, SSAT, GRE)
  • application essays
  • study skills
  • executive functions
  • writing and reading instruction

I work with students in grade 6 through graduate school, as well as adults looking to further their work productivity habits.

With a Master's Degree in Special Education, I specialize in the intersection between ADHD and academics. I also work with students with ASD and other learning disabilities. I can work in communion with your child's IEP and can help you to navigate and understand your child's services.

In addition to being a private executive function coach, I am also a mother of two children.

In my minuscule amount of spare time I run, fantasize about vegetables, put things in labeled containers, and keep things simple.
