Why SchoolHabits? from Kathryn Azevedo on Vimeo.
My name is Katie Azevedo. Through private coaching and video tutorials, I teach students how to learn.
I am also the creator of the Executive Function Journal, a 90-day journal that targets and builds critical executive functions so that our children can operate independently and succeed confidently.
Having taught in both public and private school systems, I have seen first-hand how our students are expected to learn – but they are rarely given the tools or strategies to do so.
I have personally coached thousands of students, one-on-one, over the past 16 years on standardized tests (SAT/ACT, SSAT, GRE), college essays, study skills and executive functions.
I work with students in elementary school through graduate school, as well as adults looking to further their work productivity habits.
With a Master’s Degree in Special Education, I specialize in the intersection between ADHD and academics. I also work with students with ASD and other learning disabilities. I can work in communion with your child’s IEP and can help you to navigate and understand your child’s services.
In addition to being a private executive function coach, I am also a mother of two children.
In my minuscule amount of spare time, I run, fantasize about vegetables, put things in labeled containers, and keep things simple.
Thank you for taking the time to read about me.

Thanks a million to my phenomenal videographer, William LaCapra of Capro Media Services.
